Re: 20x8.5 42offset???
Easily..
Because I like the way hondas are built, and the body styles..
Im not racing it.. I dont care about all that, just wanna fill in the wheel well
I mean i see stock civics on 20's a lot around here..
Just dunno the exact measurements so i asked.. Will it fit or not?

LOL, like tipnitty said WHY? LOL
it'll throw off camber...slow your car down because it has to turn a much larger wheel...plus your speedo will be worthless.
but when your done, post a PICTURE!!

worried about width and potential tires - not really many around

LOL just realized your user name. Didn't think Chris Brown would drive a civic but hell its what ever. If you like they way the Hondas are made, that's great. If you want to fill the wheel well, lower the car and get a set of 17's and it will look great. It will probably cost the same as a set of gaudy 20's with tires. Not to mention the ride quality would be God awful.

see the link i posted
I was surprised that 19 does fit with small change in tire OD, but it's not confortable. And 20... not sure there will be tires that are not too big...

Re: 20x8.5 42offset???
i personally dun like the idea but i wont knock u for it. when i bought my civic it had 18's with a 225/35 tire so maybe it will fit. if u cant do it drop it an inch or two an 17's. it will look sick. mine is slamed with 16' an almost no gap at all. looks amazing but so not good for the roads here in pa. or the snow an ice. whatever u do keep ur stock wheels for back ups or winter use

If you want a crazy look for your car slam it and put some 17x10 with a negative offset and roll your fenders. It'll look way better than 20's. Hellaflush>donks
