any problem going through a car wash if i have a short ram intake. the car wash near my house aslo has an underbody spray, just wondering if it would actually get to the filter.

Re: car wash

No problem at all with a short ram, with a cold air intake I might be a bit concerned though.

Re: car wash

I had a CAI and went through the car wash almost every week in the winter with no issues. Mine had a water shield on it though, so I dunno. Even then, the intake was dry after the wash.

Re: car wash

yes, but you said it's a short ram intake, so the filter is located in the engine bay.

Re: car wash

i took off the engine under covers too and dont have an issue. open the hood and make sure there is something under the filter to block the water. i have the transmission under mine.

Re: car wash

Short rams should be fine, CAI is the one that reaches far down

Re: car wash

never had troubles with my CAI.
Maybe sometimes the engine dies just after, though
