Nice work. Looks good. Did you pound it out? Did you just use bondo? Get some pics of each step for the rest please.

Re: Bodywork in progress

are you hammering out/pulling the dents then using bondo to smooth it? or are you just filling the divots the dents created? Just curious

Good work bro! U make me want to bang mine out also. Too bad winter is here once again I've only taken minor dents from fenders never done quarter panels. I have hammers but no slide hammer.

Either staying with the Satin Silver Metallic for the sake of ease or matching the interior doorframes/engine bay etc... or changing it to Magnesium Metallic cuz it looks cool lol. Ideas?

CGaud, no real need for slide hammers unless the dents are massive or run deep. I just drilled and used pull hooks. that was posted as i was literally replying haha

Thanks guys! It really isn't too bad! lol It's fun just messin around with the metal. Just remember that body filler can pretty much cover anything! Nosepicker, you just essentially drill holes in the main areas of damage (I know it's painful to even think of this at first). Then get pull hooks probably from any auto or hardware store and pull to your liking, preferably somewhere close to what you have in mind. Deeper/stronger gouges should use a pull hammer. If you overshoot, use a rubber/plastic hammer and what's called a utility dolly to get it flattened. Then just sand area, fill with Bondo, let it sit, and powersand! Continually do this until you get it where you want it. Then prime and paint.
