Vent Visor's on Coupe.

Noticing that during cold weather my interior gets alot of condensation on the inside of the windows after sitting for a few hours with my windows up.

Thinking that if I can keep the windows open a bit it would help.

Wondering how they look on a coupe, especially on gray.

Post pics if you got 'em!

And do they work to help condensation build-up on the interior?

So as promised, here is a pic of my car showing the left side visor. I hope this'll help you on your decision!

Re: Vent Visor's on Coupe.

Sweet, thanks for the pics.
I can imagine that they are barely noticeable with a dark tint on the window.

I'll assume they help with wind noise as well while driving with the windows down a bit.

Going to get these..

Yeah, it's a little less noisy. It also helps when it rains too.

My concern was that the in-channel kind sit too low and may block my visibility, without having to duck to see under them. (I'm tall)

I learned to live with it. After awhile you won't even notice.

Yeah, the one's I linked to, don't follow the curvature of the window frame very well, and IMO, unusable.
Off by a good 1/2", and the only way to make them work is to physically bend them. Under that kind of stress I don't see how the 3M tape would hold them.

I immediately went inside and ordered the WeatherTechs.

Hopefully they actually fit the damn window.

I noticed the little fish-eye mirror. I thought I was the only one. lol. Believe it or not, I look in that one rather than the stock mirror. I think it comes from years drive the box trucks.

Re: Vent Visor's on Coupe.

is condensation happening because outside atmosphere is entering the car, so i think you'd just make it worse if you left the windows down.

Think it occurs because the outside temperature cools faster than the inside.
If both interior and exterior are the same, you would think there would be no condensation.

Re: Vent Visor's on Coupe.

i was not talking about when it rains, condensation builds up when its cold out (i can go into detail with this if you like), ever heard of dew? Unless there is moisture inside your car then you should not have condensation build up on the interior.

Re: Vent Visor's on Coupe.

so think about it this way leave your windows down overnight you will have more moisture inside your car then having your window up overnight, check your weather stripping and for interior leaks. And don't be a smartass =]
