Exclamation after market muffler

hey guys, i have a 2001 civic dx, u kno the shitty basic package with no performance in it whatsoever. well ive been trying to find ways to make it not such a bitch car and have been thinking about getting an aftermarket muffler for it. to make it a little more macho, but i dont know what to get. i want a nice deep sound but i dont want something thats gonna be too loud and obnoxious considering its not a performance car and the girlfriend hates it lol.

so yea some advice would be great, looking for a nice deep sound but not too loud. thanks

one that cost exactly the same as the name brand vibrant muffler and secondly never buy no name ebay parts especially mufflers they tend to be of very poor construction and usually rust also the material used inside to muffle the noise doesn't last and ends up sounding like a fart canon exactly what you don't want. since your new to this ill give you valuable advice which is do it rite the first time. and that video clip wasn't even the same muffler they are selling.

Re: after market muffler

I would recommend what lowlife put up. The apexi ws2 is a great exhaust and is not that loud and the vibrant muffler is also a great setup to if you are making a custom exhaust.

And never go with no named brands from ebay cause they are dirt cheap and you get what you pay for which is crap.

No. The video clip isn't even the same muffler. The muffler in the clip is a universal "N1 style" with the silencer installed. Most people that go that route don't want to install the silencer, hence the angry swarm of bees stereotype associated with modified civics.
