Re: Change Honda Emblem
Never thought of that. I always associated painted the mesh with being more subtle than anything, because I've always imagined it with my EBP color. I never though about bright colors like white or silver doing that. Then again, painting *just* the mesh doesn't sit well with me trying to envision it.. it doesn't come off as clean as the opposite when I try and envision it.
It'd be interesting to see.
I'd have to see it on a silver or white car to get the adequate effect. Doing that with a NHBP, EBP, or CGP car would be too subtle, IMO.

Re: Change Honda Emblem
So I finally got my H emblems in the mail today. Not gonna lie, the rear emblem did not fit at all. I had to take off the white pins that were in the hole for it to fit. Thankfully enough, it was a good fit without the pins. Didnt need to mod or cut pieces of the emblems. Here are some pics. I'm still contemplating on whether or not I want an emble on the front of my car(help would be appreciated if it looks good or not)

Re: Change Honda Emblem
It looks good! Keep the front one OFF. I would buy them but I think I've decided just to paint them black for now but I might change it come spring. How's the quality of them. Do they feel well built or cheap plastic?

Re: Change Honda Emblem
Damn everyone voted against putting the emblem on the front. Sorry guys but I got a wee bit impulsive and stuck it on 5 minutes after I posted my earlier post ahaha. BTW Rice, do you have a filipino decal on your car somewhere? I've been meaning to get one. Thanks

Re: Change Honda Emblem
I have a Filipino soshinoya-style badge suction cupped to te inside of my windshield in the lower driver side corner and a Filipino sun decal on the back of my wink mirror.
Re: Change Honda Emblem
i bought one similar to that first website's and the rear one has a + shaped peg so you have to file those edges down a little so it will fit into your circular slot on you trunk. Also after a few months it gets sun damaged on the outside a little and the red faded. not even worth the money, i got mine on ebay tho for cheaper but the ones on that drift gear site look identical. I'm just gonna get the good expensive one. it's like $40 :/

They're also a focal point of being stolen
Honestly, I spent $5 on my Carbon Fiber emblem and it looks clean as F$&%
It uses some kind of soft silicone so it wouldnt fade like clear plastic

Re: Change Honda Emblem
ahahaha thats awesome. totally true. I super glued some weather stripping on the back of mine (I only put the rear one on) that way I could easily remove it cause I had a feeling it was going to go to crap pretty fast.
