Not an achievement or anything, but I thought it was cool lol

Recent problems:
Driver side window motor
SRS Light went off
To be done:
SRI Install

Fix window motor
Dad bought this in 2003 brand new, gave it to me in summer 2008 with 39K miles on it
This car is so high maintenance
I wanna get rid of it and get a 2009 Scion TC in manual

60K? That's it?
I was mad that I forgot to snap a pic of my 100,000 mark, as well as hitting 111,111
What did you do to your oil pan that warranted a new one? just curious.

Re: Just Hit 60K :)
Oil pan....man that was a big mess
So, before the car was handed down to me, oil change was done at a shop (Dont know who, or which shop)
After checking the oil, it was dark and nasty, and my dad told me it was done at 35k miles. It was changed by me at 45k miles. When i changed it, bolt was stripped, and there was a tiny crack below the bolt.
I bought a new bolt, put it in and left it alone, didnt over torque it no drips
At 50k miles i get mail from local honda dealer saying "$15 dollars for oil change, including oil"
I go "Why not? the change is cheaper than the oil I buy"
So, I go to dealer, long story short, crack turned into a broken metal piece, so they tightened it back up and would not proceed with oil change and gave me a $650 replacement cost
I said "No, it never dripped before I came" they come back at me with a 20% off, $550
I drove off, with a minor drip, went home to check it out, became a leak, drove to my friend's shop had it replaced for $400
Morale of story? Change your own dam oil

Re: Just Hit 60K :)
Yeah, cept i didnt have a lift, or any jack that could put my car high enough to drain all the oil, remove the downpipe, and get to the oil pan, and it was dripping like mad all over my drive way, so whatever :X

Re: Just Hit 60K :)
I don't recall having to take the downpipe off when I de-turbo'd my car. I had to swap the oil pan and turbo manifold for a non-tapped pan and header.. I did that in my driveway with jack stands
oh well, it's all in the past now, right?

Word to the wise: Was at Wal-mart one time and watched the lube tech put the drain plug back in with the air gun and totally stripped it out. I turned to the guy next to me and said, "I'd be mad if that was my Benz." He said,"HOLY S**T! That's mine!" Manager said your just gonna have to sue us and we'll put it behind the other 3M lawsuits.

Re: Just Hit 60K :)
To be honest, I'm not sure what exactly is the problem
I'm just lazy because I got other priorities before it.
I'm going by:
If it aint broke, don't fix it.
Window still goes up and down, just driver side takes maybe 10 seconds slower than the passenger side. I can deal with that
Therefore, my laziness is justified
