hi guys...i had some rsx seats and decided to install them...

they were sitting in my garage so why not ...

2 connectors fit direct into my honda civic but the other 2 i have to wire manually to work the heated seats...i cant figure it out..

i did for the one switch the bottom heater...the lumbar or back support heater , i cant get to work...

maybe i got hte wires wrong...

but in total under drivers seat there are 4 connectors...

2 are - for air bags, and seat belt light...

and there are 2 more , .. blue and pink in one connector and yellow and yellow in the other connector...

i tried to wire it to 12v and blue is negative and pink is positive...it worked..

but i dont know how to wire yellow and yellow or what goes on with that, they both are yellow..which is positive and which is negative??? :S ....so lost..

help

i attached pics of what im talkin about...the direct fit is already there..its the other 2 plugs...thanks

yellow always means srs connectors. there are some for the seatbelt buckle and possibly some for the seats side airbags.

okay well...in the picture...

the 2 switches in the red box are direct fit from 01 civic oem plugs that are under the seat. what are they for...one is for the seat belt sensor, the seat belt light in my speedometer... and other for ?

yea.. I'd be wiling to bet that the bottom yellow is for side airbags and the unknown top connector is for the heating element.

I think your best bet is to find a wiring diagram for an RSX with heated seats (and side srs) to find out wtf those plugs are for. I'd say you only gotta worry about the middle two. unless, of course, your SRS light comes on, then I'd worry about the other yellow connector.. Or if you wanted use of the heated seat feature, then I'd wire the other plug to a switch, assuming it is, in fact, the plug for the heated seat feature.

ya im guessing the outside yellow plug is side airbags the inside one is the seat belt sensor the inside grey one is selt belt light and the last one is heated seats

yea...heres the thing...

the middle two...(ones i put a red box around) are direct fit from honda. and those plugs fit right in the rsx seat bottom...

the other yellow perhaps is for the air bags...

and last plug is for heated seats i guess...

my srs light came on along time ago already, havent gotten time to reset it...

damn, been trying to find wiring diagrams havent got any luck...

anyhow know how i can install the rears... i heard you have to modify them and cut them and what not...

if theres a diy tht'd be awsome...thanks for the helpe

I post pictures of the driver and passenger seat. I connected same colors to each other and reset the srs light but its still on. I need help terribly!
