Thumbs up d17a1 trying to boost

so i got an 01 civic an i got a t3 turbo. need to know if i need to change pistons, or change compression rate, to run 8 psi, not trying to go nuts just add a little boost.

Do a compression check. If your compression and leak down turn up fine, you should be good. However, 9 or 10 psi is the max you can go, so don't get too happy with it unless you get a full standalone computer and replace the map sensor. Now.. that being said.. I very very highly recommend k-pro. It will save you so many headaches. Yes it's a bit pricey, but you have to pay to play right. It is worth it, I've used piggy backs, AEM EMS and k-pro.
