Hey wats good I got a 01 ex and I wanna get more power I was thinkin about boosting it but I was also thinking about a swap..... a friend told me I could do a h22 swap if this is true can one of u guys let me kno........cuz I thought the only thing we could do id a k swap......????

If you find motor mounts for this swap ill take 2 sets. As of now i dont know of anyone who has done it. I have been thinking of doing it and building my own mounts. It can be done just alot of fabrication to do so.

I think I saw someone with this swap recently... I doubt I could pull up the link, but I've seen it done.

To be legal in most states, you need the motor to be made in 01 or later, as its not legal in most places to put an older motor in a newer car.

Yeah man I'm really gettin tired of my d17 I need more power ...its a turd......I want power and realiability. I was gunna boost it but not sure .......and a k swap is mad money......and I liked the h22 type s.........but if I can't come up with a solution ima sell my car and get a gsr or a type r.......wat to u guys think.....I don't wanna get rid of my ex cuz I fell in love wit it ....but its not enough and since I'm new to the import game I don't kno exactly wat to do do boost it the right way.......I mean come on I used to drive a 85 Iroc z

Realisticly, it would be most cost effiecent to just sell your old civic and buy something fast. Even the Accord V6 has a lot of power.

I had the 99 accord 3.0 v6.......but sold it ...........I was gunna put that engine in the vic but I couldn't fint the mounts

you can put any engine that will fit but it won't necessarily be legal like this hatch with a corvette engine
