Re: Supercharger For d17!

I'm trying to wrap my head around this. Did the seller actually post a dyno graph of the electric pooper charger making less hp and tq than the NA engine?

Pretty technical stuff here. Thought it be a good I opener as to how shitty ideas can be sold. So if you have a shitty idea of a new product, whether it works or not, just sell it on eBay. lol some people

What is really amazing is that this guy has sold like 7000 of them and still has 98% positive feedback. 7000 people not only bought this item but didn't freak out when they realized it did nothing for them! I would give this guy two thumbs down
Re: Supercharger For d17!
they're cheap ****, my buddie bought one 2 years ago, they work for bottom end but not top, I mean 1st and 2nd gear, the fan is only run by battery, the fan can only push so much air and it only have a limit that it will turn, it will lag on top end because it will not turn as fast as the motor sucking air, its not like the real supercharger that the faster the motor turns the more it will suck air, so would say tat is a waste of money to get...

Re: Supercharger For d17!
look how many people buy the turbonator and tornado and swear by how well they work. alot of people are just stupid, thats how it is sometimes.
Re: Supercharger For d17!
guy hasnt given an update, he said he wouldnt get it done right away either because he was busy. he said within a few weeks or few months, cant remember which. hes probably not done yet.
his idea was different anyway. it was to create a fan that sucked air only from outside into a closed chamber where his air filter was, so the air filter was only getting fast flowing cold air from outside.
this pooper thing basically just looks like it makes the air filter suck air faster(from outside and under the hood, so it isnt all cold either).

Wow. That makes me wanna "fabricate" a "custom" "supercharger" from an old 350 smog pump and some panty hose. Same idea, the smog pump is a little supercharger. Find one that pumps more than the civic at wot. Or put them in series! I must be a genious
Re: Supercharger For d17!
Wow I wonder what the real gains of this would be. Not only are you getting air from the engine bay but would it actually heat up alittle bit due to the motor? I do like all of the picture's on the 4 stroke and such. I saw someone saying it only works well at like 1st and 2nd. I bet you could increase it's output by adding some kind of voltage booster and such. you could just get a electronic voltage changer and use it as sort of a electronic boost controller lol.
