I've never one any type of exhuast work so this may be a stupid question. What is the difference between the 7th gen lx and ex exhausts? Just curious becasue people seem to like to switch the lx to the ex.

the reason a lot of people switch to an ex exhaust system is because they usually want an ex header and downpipe. an lx header has the 02 sensonr in it and the header pipes go down further and longer before connecting to the downpipe.
an ex header is shorter and has no o2 sensor in it (the sensor is in the downpipe not the header). so if you want to place an ex header on an lx/dx, you have to switch the rest of the system underneath it as well.
