2005 honda civic wheels
Hey all, i'm about to purchase alloy rims for my 2005 honda civic sedan and i was wondering if anybody knew the offset for this car? Also is there anything i should know when buying aftermarket alloy wheels?
Re: 2005 honda civic wheels
if you stick with a +40 offset, i think you will be fine. thats what i have, and thats what about 90% of guys on the site have as well.
as for what you should know...most importantly think good about whether you like the rims youre going to buy. nothing worse than getting something and not liking it anymore a year later, haha.
are you just buying stock size alloys? or what are you planning to get. do you just currently have steel rims with hubcaps?

haha yea you're right i hate having that happen. Uhh i actually can't decide whether i want to get larger wheels and thinner tires, because right now the tires are kinda thick for alloy wheels. I have the steelies and hubcaps right now. Problem is, if i get larger wheels i'm going to have to get a new set of tires... which equals extra $$$
Re: 2005 honda civic wheels
usually no matter where you go to pick up rims, theyll usually give you a good deal on a rim and tire package. they will usually also mount and balance and not include that in the price either which is nice. a balance is usually about 50-60 alone.
