Hey all, i've been researching quite a bit about portable chargers for the car's battery. But i can't seem to find a good one that can charge it through the 12V DC socket. The ones i found are the Black & Decker Easy Start, and the Duracell DJump charger. Both charge through the 12V DC socket but they seem to have a major flaw where they can only sufficiently charge low batteries and not dead batteries. Any recommendations?

yes buy a new battery . or by a stand alone trickle charger.or some jumper cables .or get the one that hooks directly to the battery there getting very compact these days.

So i guess the ones that charge through the DC socket aren't worth it huh

that's the thing the DC ones are a quick jumpstart not a charger there is a big difference .

ahhh i see. I guess i'll just go with the ones that connect directly to the battery then. It'll be less convenient but i more reliable.
