i purchased this DURALAST GOLD TOP battery and the fitment is perfect for a larger battery . if anyone is in the market for one this is the one you want.now i did modify the tray by flattening the edges but that's it. the item number from AUTOZONE is 031693--34DT--DLG it has a 3 year replacement warranty then a 5 year money of warranty .

i have a 3,000 watt system in mine with a regular duralast battery...as long as you have a large capacitor you're fine...mine's 4 farads if i remember correctly (enough for 4,000 watts lol)

i dont have either upgrade, and my stock alternator and stock battery and stock grounds perform plenty well on my 2000 watt system.... its about the quality of the ground, not the size. unless ur going insanely big, which neither of u are
