Is this a good kit to get?

H4 HID Kit $75

There is a coupon code to use that I found in the Vendor section, but not sure if it is still active.

Re: HIDExtra.com

Another Q I have - Do these HID kits take the standard H4 bulb? Or do you have to get another type for HID.

Re: HIDExtra.com

they should come with H4 sized hid bulbs that will fit. make sure you tell them that when ordering.

Re: HIDExtra.com

i got my 10000 xenon hids off of ebay for 79.95 shipping included. just go on ebay and type honda hids. then go to one and they should have a part on the bottom that lets you select the bulb size.

Re: HIDExtra.com

I just sent them a email from their contact page inquiring about their warranty (where it is listed) - also about the bulbs and if that kit is all that is needed (i.e. do I need to purchase a harness.) I think tho that it uses the OEM harness.

Re: HIDExtra.com

its a good idea to make or buy an upgrade harness for them, since hids draw more power on startup than the thin factory wires can provide. eventually the wires will melt.

Re: HIDExtra.com

I still have not heard back from hidextra.com so I'm not going to order from them. Plus I found a kit on Ebay. 2 year warranty on bulbs and ballast..

H4 HID Kit $29.99 plus $29.99 shipping.

Still cheaper than HID extra and good warranty. This is a plug and play kit right out of the box.
