help! get spark plug seals out!

I am changing the valve cover gasket. the spark plug seal won't come out! i tore one of them apart but still not moving.
how?

cool. i was gonna say they make gasket scrapers you can use to help clean them off.

Had the same problem I finally used a channel lock pliers from the inside grab with nose then roll and they pop out easy.
