problems with after market gauge faces...

so i had some S7 EL gauge faces installed a couple months ago and it interferes with my needles (they get stuck at some speeds and then just jump all of a sudden)
my mechanic told me that there is electrical interference cuz nothing is physically stopping the needles but he doesnt know how to fix it and hes afraid of taking the paint off of the original gauges if he took them off

what should i do?

no its not electrical lol. the needles are touching the face in some places. you can try to very carefully pull the needles out so they have more space. just put them back in the same position except dont push them down too hard.

well depends how he installed it. if its glued on, prolly not a good idea. usually youre supposed to just tape them on.
