Well here is a quick vid of me hitting nitrous in the em2! Its a crappy one cause you cant read the speedometer very well, but it shows how much faster you get up to speed with a 50 shot as opposed to n/a! Ill film a better one in a day or so. My bottle was only at 650 psi too so I was running rich, or the punch would have been better. But god you got to love nitrous! And now that im running 7 heat ngk plugs the em2 handles nitrous like a champ!!! NITROUS KICKS ***!!! Enjoy!

Well Ive had it in for about a month now and have already killed three bottles! I fill it about once a week and I get about 10 to 15 shots from each 10 lb. bottle, so I use it alot!!!

Well I bought a nos dry sport compact kit from a guy off of the local classifieds here in salt lake for 250 bucks, then I bought a dynotune dry to wet conversion kit for 60 bucks, then a zex purge kit for 100 bucks and a nos pressure gauge and intimidator led for another 100, so total about 510 dollars for 50 hp on demand! killer deal! Well And filling the bottle which runs around 50 each time... But its worth every penny! And not one single rattle or nothing! The cel comes on cause the nitrous freezes the air intake temp sensor, so it thinks its shorted, but after 40 engine cycles, about 50 miles, it turns off.

i've come so close to doing that on so many occasions but a friend of mine bought a used eclipse that was suppose to be in "great running condition," although the previous owner had ran nitrous on it. he had it for about 4 months and then one day while he was on an everyday type normal drive to the gas station he heard a loud bang and rattling, turns out a rod shot right through his block and ever since then that kinda turned me off from nitrous, i just like how it's the cheapest mod with the most power results, just don't like how it's not really trustworthy when it comes to your internals

Yeah I understand the fact that internals will wear with it, but unlike a turbo, you dont have that boost on a constant! And that guy was probably pushing at least a 75 shot through that eclipse. I run an easy 50 shot that gives me just enough, while still being fairly nice to my engine.

thats what i like about nitrous, its not constantley running, its power on demand when you want it, plus i think its bad *** when you pull up next to someone and purge it, to me thats pretty intimidating

do you guys who have nitrous have the window switch that sets it to spray in a certain gear and rpm? i was just wondering how to run and 50 shot as safely as possible and what are other safety precautions?

i have it hooked to my horn.. i just like it better there so i can spray and watch my rpms then let off the horn and spray stops.. everyone has their own opinions though

im sprayin a zex wet kit with a 75 shot if that helps you any

All I got is my arming switch and wot switch, that works perfectly for me... Im still learning to feather my throttle coming off the line so I can get up fairly quickly, but its coming along. What ever you do, dont put your pedal to the floor coming off the line because, youll just spin em and hit your rpm limiter very quickly...And if that happens your fuel will cut off and no fuel+ lots of nitrous=BOOM!!! Just treat your car like a baby when ya first start bottle feeding it and youll be fine. And dont foget to get colder plugs, and dont listen to anyone if they tell you youll be fine with stock ones!!! I know from experience! I went ahead and got 7 heat ngk's and they keep my spark in line. Good luck with it, and be prepared to spend plenty of money refilling your bottle, cause at 50 bucks a pop, and as addicting as it is, your wallet will feel an awful lot lighter over the next month or so!

i dont spray in first just 2,3,4th.. My local shop does 3.75lb damn nitrous must be expensive where ur at.. but gl with everything

mr22508..theres a wot switch?? i just thought you armed it then for me i wont be spraying in 1st so id arm it after i get into 2nd then once i have the throttle wide open it just starts spraying., i understand theres alot of ways to spray im just trying to get a feel for all of them..i also like 01 civic coupes horn way

Yeah there is a wot switch, its kind of complicated to put one in because it works off of your throttle plate on your throttle body. Ya gots to twist the brace up and cut it and everything else, but yeah there is a wot switch. So you can arm it, and as long as you dont go wot in first, as soon as you shift, you just press down on the gas and your going!!!
