Disk Brake Pad Replacement
Disk Brake Pad Replacement
I searched and found a DIY for changing the brakes but I only found one for the rear drum brakes. It takes forever to stop and I think my brakes need changing.
Is this how I should go about it:
1. Remove the caliper (unscrew the bolts holding it into place)
2. Slide out the old pads
3. Slide in the new OEM pads
4. Reinstall the new pads and screw in the bolts
5. Pump the brakes
6. Grab a beer + pat on the back
Here is a video I'm using as a reference

Re: Disk Brake Pad Replacement
If your brake pads are really low, you need to make sure that your master cylinder is filled to the correct marking after changing the pads. If not you need to fill it and bleed the brakes to make sure there is no air in the lines.
