I'm not sure about this one, maybe some more experienced members can chime in. I thing you should be able to hook it up. Might have to do some re wiring I imagine.

Would it really be worth it? Its possibly i guess if it is double din. Wiring you would need to get the plugs on the back.

well first and most importantly, you will have to get an exact measurement of your new double din unit (not only width and height, but also depth), and compare it to what the opening you will have is. you can measure your existing opening width and height without even taking anything apart, but for depth you will obviously have to take it apart. (i doubt depth will be the problem here).
once you take out your stock stereo and the storage opening, i doubt it will be the exact same size as your new double din setup, but if it is...thats perfect and the rest of the job should be super easy. if its slightly bigger you probably wont be able to do it unless you really want to make a mission out of it. if its slightly smaller, you you might be able to still do it by somehow spacing it on each side when you go to screw the case in place (just to make sure its centered left to right, and up to down) and use some kind of an edging once its all installed to hide the gap...you might have to be creative there when it comes to covering a gap.
as for wiring it in, first thing youd need to do is get an aftermarket harness that plugs into your stock civic harness (so you dont have to cut it off incase you ever need to put your stock radio back in) so you have all the wires you need. then you would need to find a stock 350z harness that actually plugs into the back of your double din unit. hopefully you have the 350z one, i didnt see it in the picture.
if and when you possibly get those, you might have to either consult nissan, or look online for a specific wiring diagram showing what each wire on the nissan harness is. take a piece of tape and label each one if you want because the chances are the colours on the nissan vs civic harnesses are different. match each of those ones up like you normally would when installing any new aftermarket stereo.
*just remember that wires of like colour generally do, but do not always go together. especially in this case*
its should more or less be a can or cannot do thing depending on dimensions of the new double din unit. im curious to see how it all looks if you get it done. hope this helps.

oh yeah? all double din? i had no idea. i thought it meant a specific style. in that case ignore most of what i said up to the wiring, hehe.
Re: replacing stock head unit on 03 civic ex w/ double din from 350z 03
i replaced my stock LX head unit with a Panasonic double din... i bought an aftermarket single din adapter... then used my double din head metal mounting shield and marked out the opening on the single din adapter... carefully used a dremel tool to cut out the proper opening size... i then inserted the metal shield (which goes around the double din unit) into the modifed adapter and secured it with the metal tabs on the metal shield... i used a wiring adapter for the honda and heat shrink butt splices to connect to the panasonic harness... its pretty simple after that... plug up the harnesses... slide in the head unit (it should click when it gets in place) then snap on the bezel for the unit...
All that said your install will be somewhat different (obviously) do to the the mounting bracket on the Nissan unit... and the wiring will be more complex... hopefully you could find pin list for that unit somewhere online... also i guess you would have to fashion some form of mounting brackets due to the lack of metal mounting shield...
i dont doubt that this can be done with that head unit... but it would be much easier with a plain aftermarket double din...
hope this helps

Re: replacing stock head unit on 03 civic ex w/ double din from 350z 03
A. i dont know why on earth you would want to do this
B. it's not going to improve your audio whatsoever (maybe a LIL more power to your speakers)
C. The metal brackets behind that unit are facing the wrong way. Civic mounting brackets go sideways. This means you're going to be bending them or removing them off this head unit.
D. You'e going to need the wiring harness that came with this unit, and spend alot of time figuring out which wire nissan intended that head unit to pair up with.
E. That head unit will slide in there depth wise to your civic but for what reason? All you're doing is sliding in a giant version of the CD player you already have lol. The time and money spent or the hassle could probably equal up to having a nicer aftermaket double din with a 7inch screen for movies and GPS.
and the answer to your question. no it's not going to be "plug and go"

It can be done tho. I remember someone on here putting a Nissan Versa double din in their civic. idk why they wanted to but they did and it did work. you just need to figure out the wiring. Do a search for that thread.
