I have a 04 value package. I bought it off the showroom floor with 6 miles on it. I now have almost 150,000. 5sp manual. I've never had any major problem with it. I was having some firing issues, but I believe that has been corrected (never trust Discount's reccomended gap). I have a vibration problem that I am trouble shooting. I believe it to be suspension related (bad struts, alignment, or even really bad bent wheel). I have tried my best to keep up with maintainence and when I used to let my ex drive it she would give it hell.

if i could go back, i wouldve gotten the dx manual instead of ex auto. but oh well. so many fewer problems on the dx cause there is alot less to break.

Thanks for the advice but FYI I didn't beat the crap out of it. I was rear ended in 03 and hit a deer with 1000k on the motor. Otherwise it was babied.
