serpentine belt question

I am new to the Civic world. I just got my 04 Civic EX and I already need to change my serpentine belt's on it. I have searched the threads and didn't find anything of any help. I just was needing to know how hard it is to change them and if I may need a long breaker bar or something to reach to get to the tensner polley? thanks for your help in advance.

Re: serpentine belt question

We don't have a serpentine belt, we have accessory belts - two of them.

Re: serpentine belt question

there is no tnsioner pulley. theres bolts that pull the alternator and power steering back to get the belts taught. and it a 30 min job.

Re: serpentine belt question

If you dont even know the difference between serpentine belts, timing belt, and accessory belts maybe you should concider taking your veh to the shop to have this done. the timing belt is a bitch to get at on this car and not for a first timer. best of luck
