Header/Test pipe????

i have searched and could not find out the answer to my question. I have an Apexi catback on right now and im buying a dc 4-1 header for real cheap from a friend, but its just the upper section. So i was wonder if the DC header will hook up to the megan test pipe that takes place of the whole cat piping?

Re: Header/Test pipe????

It probably should. I didn't even know megan had a test pipe out for the EX.

With all of that strait pipe, I would throw a resonator in there somewhere to cut down on raspy-nastyness.

Re: Header/Test pipe????

The megan test pipe should bolt up to the DC if the DC is the same size as the Megan 4-1. Megan's test pipe has been out a few years for the EM2.

Re: Header/Test pipe????

if you install the high flow cat you dont need defoulers at all. because you still have a cat.

when you get ride of the cat with a test pipe then you need defoulers or your gonna have a CEL

Re: Header/Test pipe????

True but many companies market "high flow cats" but are really test pipes.

Re: Header/Test pipe????

ya mine is like honeycomb inside, you can see right through it but theres no hole for the o2 sensor so i have to put in one of those after the high flow...and another question when i drill the hole for the fouler does it have to be at the same angle?
