I thought I saw on here a DIY to clear the tails on a 03 sedan but I can't seem to find it now. Can anyone help?

what exactly does that mean? im pretty sure most newer stanley tails are plastic welded together and cannot be opened without breaking.

clearing means getting rid of the red in the tail lights.

i dont think its possible, considering the tails use red colored plastic.

Yep I think it is the JDM tails (with the clear all round the bottom still red on top) I know I can get the depo ones but I was sure I saw a DIY for it. I looked at the lens and it does look like it is red plastic. I thought it would be like the head lights with just an insert. I guess I was wrong...I'll just have to spend the cash I guess.

On a serious note, how did DJRabbi get that clear strip on his coupe tail light reflectors? It looks sick. Kinda reminds me of the 99-00 civic rear red and white look.

I think those were ebay lights that he ended up tinting or spraying with red or something.

pretty sure some other member did those, by adding a white reflector strip to the bottom of stock tails. its diy.
