my first.

FINALLY...my first mod. megan racing front and rear strut bars. installing it wasn't what i imagined it to be. never knew i had to move the clutch fluid. what a drag. took almost an hour to finish.

did the rear strut bar the next morning...and wow mad annoying. it HAD to be raining when i was installing it. oh well it was fun.

next up is an aem short ram. hope it will fit. =)

Re: my first.

Pretty sure the front strut bar will need to come off in order for the stock airbox to be removed, if you wanna put in a short ram intake. Also, not sure if the strut bar will be in the way of the short ram. As it is it looks like the strut bar is already in contact with the stock air box, and the short ram would be a little taller than the airbox which means the strut bar would be an obstacle.

Re: my first.

As far as I know the cold air intake and short ram piping are pretty similar in the initial parts, except of course the cold air pipe is longer overall. I reckon you will still face the same problem regardless. Well just take out the strut bar before installing the CAI/short ram intake, then put it back later (if it can even fit). My first mod to my 05 civic was a short ram too. Got an ebay short ram only for the piping and got myself an AEM dryflow filter.
