Re: Torque Converter Lockup

I know what you are talking about.

Give me one NON RICER reason why you would want to do this?

Re: Torque Converter Lockup

What is ricer about it?

I'm sick of the car getting into 4th and taking forever to lock...but my main reason would be fuel mileage. Unlocked = waste of energy....

Trust me...I'm not a ricer! I understand I have one of the slowest cars on the planet and I'm not trying to do this to be "faster"...I've come to terms with my pos auto, just want to have what little control over it, I can get!

Re: Torque Converter Lockup

OK, but there are several reasons you should not do this.

Also, locking it before you get to 4th is almost a guaranteed new trans.

I will do some looking and see what I can find.

I understand the concequences...I've installed them on other vehicles. Thanks the help.
