aem v2 install help

Hey guys I bought myself a aem v2 intake. I bought it on here, but it didn't come with any install instructions. I don't know what to remove or how to install it. I've used the search function and I didn't really find anyone who had any kinda detailed install instructions. If someone can help me out that'd be great

Re: aem v2 install help

hey guys I think something might be faulty with the way i installed my aem v2. Pretty much every time I accelerate I can hear this kinda low maybe whistle sound then it goes away when I accelerate harder. Is something loose maybe? I checked the stuff I screwed in and bolted up but its all normal.... not sure what to do here

Re: aem v2 install help

check all the clamp for air leaks, make sure it is connected securely. there is air sucking noises you will hear all the time but mainly when the car is cold. once it warms up, you hardly hear it.

also check the sensor hole, make sure its in there tight and not loose. and the breather hose should be tight too.

I've already bought it and installed it..... lol I think it is pretty much when the car is running cold that it makes the whistle sound.
