Re: Catback system

well, when you say 80db i cant really think of that in a sound tone....are you looking for something thats quieter than what most people go with...like a skunk2 or magnaflow?

and the tsudo is excellent, ive had mine for 3 years. deepest tone out of any catback for our cars that ive heard. the thing is, it does get loud around 4000 rpm and up... but when idling or driving at lower rpms you shouldnt have a problem. it comes with a silencer too that you can adjust if you wanted it a bit quieter. youd just have to make sure you kept your stock downpipe and cat...then connect the catback to that. if you decided to change that later on, itd probably be louder.

Re: Catback system

to be totally honest, i dont know, i havent ever used my silencer. i couldnt see it doing anything at all to the deep tone, because all a silencer does is kind of muffle the sound. imagine someone yelling and then taking a pillow and stuffing it on their face...youd hear the same sound, just quieter. same idea i think. even if it did...it would still be deeper than most catbacks for our car...its a really really deep tone.

and now youve got me all curious. im tempted to put my silencer on now just for the weekend for the first time in 3 years haha. i think im going to just to see how it sounds/feels. ill give you a good breakdown of how it goes. ill try it at a couple different silencing levels with the adjuster.
