can anyone take some pics of how their OEM spoiler bolts to the trunk lid from inside the trunk. i'm wanting to add one, but would like to see what's going to be needed as far as drilling holes and such. anyone with an aftermarket OEM style willing to post pics of their mounting is welcome also.

Re: spoiler trunk pics

If you look underneath trunk you will see 2 circles in the metal, 2 on each side. Those are for the mounting bolts. The wiring hole is determined by supplied template.

When the drilling for mounting is finished the holes are the same size as the embossed circles.

Re: spoiler trunk pics

Attached is a shot of the right side.

The only thing visible are the 2 acorn nuts per side. The hole for the grommet and wiring is drilled above one of the metal channels and wiring is hidden until it runs out of channel in split loom tubing.

You can see the smaller loom, it is for the brake lamp.

Re: spoiler trunk pics

You won't have any holes until you drill, you should however be able to see small circles in the metal on each side. Maybe under the sealant they apply.
