Coolant Flush + Oil
Coolant Flush + Oil
Hey Guys, well I'm going to be changing the oil on my Honda Civic with Amsoil 5W-20 on the weekend. Now this is the easy part, but I also want to flush the coolant and pour in some new coolant. Some questions...
- Should I use Honda coolant from the dealership or can I buy better aftermarket coolant?
- Where the heck is the drain plug for the coolant?
- How much will many litres will it take?

Re: Coolant Flush + Oil
Prestone coolant will do just dandy. If you want it to run a little cooler pour a little water wetter in there http://www.redlineoil.com/products_coolant.asp To drain the coolant just take the cap off the top and undo the bottom hose on the radiator. The amount needed to refill should be in the back of your owner's manual, I think thats where I found it.
