rim+tire size for stock w/ lipkit

Hey, I know most guys on here all have experience with different size rims/tires/springs etc etc.

I have an 02 civic with the veloz sideskirt and front/rear lip kit package, and I haven't lowered it or anything so it's still stock in that aspect. Can I have some reccommendations from you guys with experience on rim and rubber size so that I have a combination of a few things?

One is I want it to obviously fill up the wheel well so that it doesn't look empty...because again, I haven't dropped the car at all. Another is the comfort level, because it's my only vehicle so I still want to be able to ride with it feeling nice, and the last is pretty much just the overall look of a tire size with rim size combination of what looks the best. I was pretty set on going with 18's, but after some of the posts I've read over the past few weeks of the uncomfortable rides, I think I've moved more towards the 17's as my choice. I only want to purchase once and like them without having to learn a lesson and sell and buy other ones (since like most of us on here, our bank accounts have limits haha).

I pretty much know the style of rim I want, I just want to know the sizes of everything.

All the help I can get would be appreciated...thanks.

If you want to get rid of the wheel gap, you have to lower your car. The overall size of the tire wont change so you will get the same amount of wheel gap or will look like you actually got more, unless you intentionally get bigger sized tires which will throw off your speedometer and mileage.
