Short Ram Question
Short Ram Question
Alright my buddy has a 2002 civic hx with an aem short ram model number 22-501. He just got a cold air intake so he's wants to hook his short ram up on my car (2004 honda civic lx)since I don't have one yet. However in looking on AEM's website model number is different 22-503. Is there any real difference in the intake? Are the sensor sizes or pieces any different? Is the tube diameter any different? Any help on this would be great since i'm starting at 9am tommarrow morning gutting the stock airbox for install.....
Re: Short Ram Question
The AEM 22-501 is made for Honda Civic EX 2001-2005 and should work on your car.

Re: Short Ram Question
Well, its past 9am. It should work- they make little changes like a slight degree diference in the tube so it clear X-part in engine bay of car A so it doesnt slightly rub on Y-part of car B. Your main differences are MT/AT and Vtec/no Vtec solenoid. Models usually work on both trims of car.
