Re: Wide body kit install

IMO stay away. Very few kits made brand new are made with fiberglass. Most distributors have cleared their fiberglass inventory for flexfiber and polyurethane.

From your post, it sounds like a used wide body kit, with damage, and the potential of breaking more after you install it on your car. Then you have to un-mold the pieces to replace it again after it breaks.

You are going to pay $1200-1500 for installation from a professional body shop. Cheapo shops will charge you less, but you get what you pay for.

it may be flexfiber i dont know its sounds like the guy knows nothing about it, his wife bought it as a gift to him and he never go around to it than crashed the car. also if i buy it how hard would be to shave the side skirts and just you those? because thats all i really want is the side skirts

is 50$ worth the gamble?

Re: Wide body kit install

yeah post some pics of the parts, and we can get a better idea of what you are looking at, and how much hassle it will be if any. If it was never installed then it might be ok for flex fiber.

Yea for $50

In worse case you can sell it down at Wallmart parking lot for $100 or more.
