gas prices suck, they aren't getting better


u think its possible to convert a non-hybrid civic to a hybrid one, and still keep mt?

nope. hybrids typically use a CVT tranny and an electric motor to assist the gas. need new everything

i heard you could convert a car to use ethanol, but it involves replacing alot of parts.

the way ethanol is being produced in the US is actually very inefficient, and costly to the food market, since they're using corn... it was recently reported in the news that the amount of corn used to produce one tank of ethanol could feed a family for a year or something crazy like that

but that sucks about the hybrid thing... an interesting trend that is slowly emerging is ev conversions... people are actually starting to get rid of thier internal combustion engines, for electric motors, and convert thier cars to electric vehicles... from what i know basic components are 1) AC motor 2) inverter 3) fat *** battery.... and with a lot of modification, they got an electric car
