Ok so i was at the strip and i pulled the stick into 2nd and heard a like pop. The welds on the stick to the bracket that holds the cable snapped. wth!.

So i was taking the shifter out yesterday and one of the bolts is stuck in the hole that holds the shifter assembly down. Can I get under the car to get at this or am i screwed?

Can i get to the bolt under the car? I think i broke loose something under the car.. that holds the bolt from the top of the shift on the bottom

revo sucks dont get them. i had it in my altima and the thing that holds the ball at the base snapped bc it was plastic. so i just got the b&m i had to take apart the shifter but it was worth it. and go to honda for replacements

revo sucks ??... the guy who wanterd to buy it was me ... i made the thread lol ... i thought revo made the best short shfiters for our cars??? is there anythin better out there? just cuz urs snapped doesn't mean revo sucks ... stuff breaks all the time here and there, it doesn't concern me really..

yes it does. i will never ever ever buy revo again. it was sub oem quality and imagine not being able to shift. out of no where and being able to do nothing about it. it bent my vertical shift linkage the one that goes up and down. so i had to buy that new. i dont know the new market for civics but i have heard the same problem from other people as well. again this is altima.

revo gave me a oem style shift box with a crappy clip to hold the base of the shifter.

b&m gave me all i needed but the plastic box. and the clip holding it was metal vs plastic. idk i choose metal over plastic and b&m also came with a bump stop because if you over throw you will bend the linkage like the revo did to mine because the new throw is shorter but the box is still the same.

i just dont like revo its my opinion. i payed close to 200 when it first came out and now you can get it for 50 thats bs.
you buy what you want.

Jacked up the car, the nut that was welded to the under carriage broke and rusted stuck on the bolt (yeah nj for your excessive use of salt. Used a bit of PB Spray and let it sit for 5 minutes, cranked it with a 1/2" Socket and bam it came free, then i tig welded that sucker back up. took about an hour all in all
