not your teeth homey. Ive noticed the majority of vic owners on here replaced their stock grill. I would also like to replace my stock grill. Where did you guys get your grills from? Ive looked around for an 04-05 coupe grill, and i only found 2, one on ebay for like 80 bucks, and one on here in the grill DIY. I was thinkin they gotta be cheaper than that right? theres not much to it.
If youve got any info let me know!

People with the 04-05 were rocking the 01-03 grills back in the day- the altezza or type R grills from ebay are what everyone gets, and they paint the bottom lip body colored to make it flow nice.

the 01-03 will fit the 04-05??? aint that some ish. That opens up a new door. the 01-03 ones are wayyyy cheaper than the 04-05.

the 04-05 says it doesnt fit 01-03 and the 01-03 says 01-03 only, yet they look the same!

Im rockin the 01-03 RS grille on my 04. The 01-03 Civics had wider headlights, so the grille is too small. I have in on now, but i need to have about a 1/4 in. gap filled on each side.

I don't mean to hijack this thread, just curious if anyone has or knows where to get a hex (honeycomb) grille like the 04's have for an 01-03??? All I see are the criss-cross ones. Do I have to modify my own?

Well thanks, but passwordJDM specifically says it's for 04-05, not 01-03, otherwise nice grill. I was searching eBay earlier today and didn't find anything like it either, just many of the criss-cross "X" style.

hmm they stopped carrying them it seems. they used to have the 01-03 rs grill (the real one from japan). ebay has the fakes, and they look very similar. the only difference is the jdm one comes with a painted lip already, and the RS emblem has a red outline around it. okaaayy and ebay doesnt have them either weird.

theyre cheap but quality abs plastic and the fitment on the car is near perfect. all the clips and stuff fit together, and the sedan radiator cover matches up too.
