Curiosity Killing the Cat

I have a 05 EX and i'm looking to get a Cold Air Intake. Now after the pipe goes below the engine and into the bumper does it bend to the right (behind the fog light) or left (towards the center of the bumper). Just wondering. What kind of Intake do you guys have (if aftermarket)?? Any brand recommendations???

Re: Curiosity Killing the Cat

get a short ram intake. that way you wont risk sucking in water. i build a cai and built it so i could remove the bottom section and i ended up always having it off cuz of the rain so i just said screw it and kept the short ram. just my .02

I've heard some people swear by doing the full Cold Air, but I stuck to a short just to be on the safe side. Bad enough my '05 is lowered a bit now that it's getting to the rainy season, but at least I don't have to worry about picking up water.

Water bad!

its only 1-2hp difference, not worth ruining a good motor.
