Need advice on "Painting Side mirrors and Door handles" .

I have a SSM 2004 VP coupe which came with Black side mirrors, Black door handles and Black lining on the trunk. I always wanted to get a complete body matched look on the car which basically means either painting the sidemirrors, door handles and the trunk trim to body match the SSM color or buying EX mirrors, handles and trunk trim.

I found out that the EX parts are costing pretty much but at the same time Im worried about paint shops matching the color right ! Im not being fussy or cheap in any way but it sucks to pay the paint shop your two week pay check to get this stuff done and 6months later u find out the colors fading or something ...

On the other hand I found EX SSM door handles for like $80 a pair for both sides which is not a bad price but before I buy em, does anyone know if there really hard to put on ? I have read before people saying that its a bitch to take these off and get em painted and put em back on ... coz of some spring thing ... Does anyone have any experience regarding these issues? Please let me know Thanks in advance !

anybody need a rear trunk moulding for the coupe in SSM? I accidently bought the wrong one for my sedan and its just sitting collecting dust.

let me know!

With the inquiry about the handles n stuff, its cheaper to get everythig painted. If you dont trust yourself taking handles off, let a body shop take care of that. Rather pay 200 for paint than 300 for parts

Door handles are a real sonofabitch to remove. There's a bitch clip around the lock cylinder that is a real pain in the *** to take off, and it's even worse going back on. I would imagine there's some nifty little tool that does this in 4 seconds, but I don't have it and as such have spent 2-3 hours removing and replacing them before. Not fun.

The exterior door handles of the EX and DX are exchangeable? I thought they weren't because ex has power and dx doesn't. :/ I ended up getting everything but the mirrors painted when I had to get my quarter panel repaired.

The handles are part of the trim. For how easy they are to remove, here:
