Just came on to post that this christmas day I got the best ever mileage out of my civic on a full tank !!!

Mileage: 485 miles !!!
Driving: ALL HIGHWAY
A/C: 30%
Average Speed: 80-90 mph
Gas Used: 12.87 gallons

i average about 26 mpg but i drive like a bat out of hell constantly. 10 mpg more would rock!

That seems really high for 80-90 mph!

I got a constant 33-34 when I had a vic. Now I can get 33 mpg TOPS on the highway and about 15 mpg when doing spirited city driving.

You are nuts thats cutting it close we only have a 13.2 gallon tank. I've gotten over 400 miles before and after filling it up it filled about 11 gallons. I was too scared to drive on an empty tank even longer but I can see you hitting 485 miles. Driving 80-90mph is little fishy though.

Guys theres no reason for me to make stories on these forums or something If u think its fishy ..well I cant change someones thoughts u know ... but i know one thing for sure now ... I love my civic even more now :d

ive gotten as high as 43mpg driving on the interestate and over teh passes on US 6 from Grand Junction, Co to Salt Lake City. thats with cruise set at 80mph on the interstate adn maintaining about 65mph on the passes. air conditioning running. only mods were intake, exhaust and tein coilovers.

my average for city/highway is about 35mpg
