So i got a 2002 black civic LX sedan. I'm not a huge car person and im not one to tell you everything about a car including egines and what not. So i was wondering what would be something easy to do to my car that wouldnt be ahrd or involve alot of money. I already debadged it which went very well.

#1 Item to have.

Buy a Helm service manual. That will be your best friend and a vital resource if you intend on doing anything of any sort to your vehicle whether it be basic maintainance, interior, exterior, or even major service work.

post some pics up. there are a lot of things that you can buy, but mods adding gobs of power are lacking for the d. there are plenty of little things you can do. if you search around for a little while on here, you will come across threads of different mods people have done. intake, exhaust, header, lowering springs, nice wheels, and maybe a lip are pretty good starting points, but it also depends on what you're into. so good luck with your car; there are plenty of resources on the net to find the answers to your questions - just remember to search.

This is a very general question. Theres many things you can do to our cars (despite the lack of insane amounts of parts) and you need to limit the possiblities list and set realistic goals on a realistic budget.

For you a simple intake, header and exhaust would impress you...just to dabble in the car world a little.

Except that...if I saw you drivin around...Id have to blast ya, like many others. Youre going to get that kind of attention if you start modding. It may be unwanted to prepare yourself for that too. You dont want to sep outside ur boundaries and get in trouble.

are you looking for more looks or speed.....cause you can add like a cold air intake in, header, exaust.....or maybe lower it.....get some tinted windows....are you trying to add a sound system.....there are so much stuff you can do.......

Define "not a lot of money". Suspension upgrades is where you'll get the most bang for the buck. I'd start there.

do you get any gains like in gas mileage by lowering? or does it just handle better?

Probably lowers the gas mileage by lowering it, since you'll be on the throttle more due to the better handling. Other than that, I doubt the two (lowering and gas mileage) are in any way mechanically related.
