Unhappy has anyone had this kind of problem??

Hi, I just got my engine shampooed today at the dealer and all of sudden my alarm doesn't chirp properly. You cant really hear the sound..it's just making weird hissing noise. Everything else works fine though. Has anyone had this kind of problem?? Is it probably because they put some kind of liquid inside my siren accidently????

Re: has anyone had this kind of problem??

ya lol let it air dry for a few days, then try it. that happened to mine when i mounted it near the fender and every time it would rain, it sounded like a dying cat. finally i just bought a better one and mounted it higher up away from water and pointing down so if anything splashed, it would fall out. if after a few days it still doesnt work, you gotta replace it.
