Safety Help On Seat Belt

Does anyone know what size bolt goes in the seat belt piece that attaches it to the seat??? This is for the DRIVERS SIDE so it's a shorter bolt. When I put my stock seats back inthe bolt was missing.

Please help cuz my seat belt is not attached to my seat!! This is for a 2003 CIVIC EX.

Re: Safety Help On Seat Belt

Anyone have a manual that could look this up? I called my local Honda dealership and they were no help at all. They even told me that to get the bolt I'd have to order the whole seat belt part!

I'm thinking off the top of my head, but could it be a 14mm metric? If it were my passenger side seat than I'd just take it out and bring the seat belt part into a hardware store and start fitting, but taking off the driver side seat belt piece woud render the light in my console and I don't want to pay $30 for Honda to turn it off.

Re: Safety Help On Seat Belt

I'm pretty sure its the same size as the one that holds the seatbelt bar to the side panel behind the door. Honda only uses a couple of bolt sizes, so if you can find the one that fits in there, its just a matter of getting one thats the proper length. Its either a 12 or 14mm bolt, I cant remember, but I want to say its got a 17mm head, which makes it 12mm, probably 12x1.5.

You took yours off yesterday and it is a 14mm bolt about 1.5 inches long? This is for the drivers side seat belt piece that attaches it to the actual seat correct? I'll have to hit up my local ACE Hardware and get a bolt.

Thanks for your replies. I know the thread is really tight too on these bolts.
