Lightbulb New Rims

So I am trying to buy some used rims for my 02 silver sedan. They are Tekno INSTINCT 16" Rims with a 4x100 bolt pattern.(don't know the offset). The tires that come with the rims are Bridgestone Potenzas 205/40/R16 and have 75% tread left on them. What concerns me is 40 series tires. Most people here have 50 series tires on 16" rims. My car is not lowered so do you think I will have a huge gap with 40 series tires. Will 45 or 50 series make it look better? They are only $300, which makes in hard to pass on a deal like that and on the other hand I don’t want my car to look like dam 4x4. If anybody has any pics of a sedan with 16" and 40 profile tires...post up! How does the ride quality of a 40 series tire compare to a 45?
BTW..what do you guys think of the rims? Will they look good on my sedan? Need opinions. Thanks!

Re: New Rims

How much of a drop is needed to get rid of the gap? Would eibach pro kit do it? My other option is FAT Fives, also $300. I need your opinion guys.

Re: New Rims

The pro-kit lowers it an inch. So that will take away some of the gap.
