kamikaze header
now i know that everyone says that ebay headers are junk, but what if mine has a hole in it and its whistling, so it has to be replaced and i cannot afford a kamikaze, so what do people think of this

for that price...u might as well invest an extra 50 bucks and get a Megan. Then at least ur guaranteed durability and quality at an affordable price. with that thing its kind of like a who knows thing. u might end up with the same leaking hole u got now.

i wish i woulda seen this thread earlier.. i have a ceramic coated kamikaze header for sale.. used for only about.. 4-5k miles.. then again, its for an ex...

nope.. the only gasket it came with was the one that connects to the downpipe.. i ended up reusing the stock spring bolts and going to autozone to find some nuts that fit.. i think i also reused the stock gasket.. lol.. back when i was young and naive and didnt know that you were supposed to use new gaskets..

you talking about the gasket that goes between the head and the header, right? just use an OEM gasket.. you can prolly get one at a dealership, www.hondaautomotiveparts.com, or even dezod carries them

let us know how that kamikaze is on the car. im thinking about switching back to my oem manifold becuz i have an obx header and i felt liek i lost a ton of low end and gained barely nohting up top but noise. did anybody notice a difference with that kamikaze header?

def. ill let u know, unfortunately itll be a couple days because its on backorder at kamikaze, so they said itll ship out next week. Ive heard that the obx headers are junk, as far as research the kamikaze has been rated the best, so ill let everyone know what i think, maybe even run it in the 1/8th

please please please can u do a dyno on ur car now and then after u put the kamikaze header on??
cuz i hear that the kamikaze was the best for lx/dx and i would really like to kno how much gain in hp there is

when i had my kamikaze, i didnt notice any drop at all.. a little up in the mid range, thats about it.. i did notice a drop when i didnt bolt up the downpipe correctly.. lol.. somehow i managed to offset the downpipe by about a half inch when i first installed it.. car ran like **** after that, but then I noticed the problem and fixed it right away.. hehe
it made my car sound pretty cool though.. that, paired up with a random tech high flow cat and an apex'i WS2 exhaust sounded pretty nice, actually.. not too loud, but you can definitely tell when you get on it (like WOT, for instance)

with that said, i still have mine for sale.. i can get new pics, too, if ya want because i decided to take it with me when i visited my mom's house

hey rice boy...i wouldnt mind looking at the pics but i think if i get a kamikaze header ill just go w/the lx replacement
BUT i think if i did the ex kamikaze and random tech and weld it to my magnaflow cat back that would be a lot quieter dont u guys think?

soon as it comes off of backorder, i cant wait... plus i gotta get a gasket, i emailed dezod to see how long their stainless gasket will b on backorder too, otherwise i gotta get an oem one

on that link, they advertise a header for the dx/lx, does that mean the header has two spots for the o2 sensors? or would you still have to get a high flow cat/test pipe?

it has two holes for 02 sensors i think, ill let u know when i get it, they are in teh process of making it, so itll be next friday prolly till i get it
