Turbo on stock motor

Turbo on stock motor I am trying to figure out which route would be the best to get a good amount of power out of my 04 civic. I have the option of a turbo kit or a motor swap. I'd like to swap the motor but I don't really want a K series motor. At the same time, I am worried about the turbo ruining the stock motor I have right now. Anybody out there with any suggestions?
