Anyone have a dyno of a stock D17a1
Anyone have a dyno of a stock D17a1
I just bought an 05 civic LX 5speed and I'm wondering what kind of power it makes stock, does anyone have a dyno of one? I had trouble digging one up on the forums or anywhere else for that matter.

why would u want a dyno? how many miles do u have on it? just google in for the specs of ur car and read from there...fine ill find it for u too.
2001-2005 Civic comes with two main engine choices:
the 4-cylinder 1.7-liter 115 h.p SOHC (Single OverHead Cam) 16-Valve engine and the more powerful 4-cylinder 1.7-liter 127 h.p SOHC 16-valve VTEC (Variable Valve Timing and Lift Electronic Control) engine
you have the first engine becuz u have an lx. also...thats to the crank so basically ur looking at under 100 hp to the wheels and maybe even less depending on how the car was used or maintenanced and miles.

lol to the wheels.... lemme see..... <90... since the ex was dynoed at 90whp (auto) i wanna say 80whp or so for an auto Lx. now for a 5 speed i guess a 15% increase sounds about right....so around 92whp for a manual LX

Yeah I already knew the stated specs for the car, thanks for posting them up though. I was just wondering because I guess I'm a nerd for charts and graphs? I was sure *someone* dynoed one stock... I've even seen conversations where people have mentioned seeing a stock dyno but there were no links. Anyway, if no one has one it's no big deal, I was just curious. Obviously it's pretty damn weak, I guess I was just wondering exactly how weak? lol

3 pulls is $60-90 bucks. If you really gotta know that bad how little power the car has, go dyno it.
