Rep Power: 0 Planning on buying an 07 Civic EX Coupe soon
Hello Civicforums!
I currently own a 2004 Civic EX Sedan (automatic) and it has ~280,000 miles. I bought the car at ~270k from the original owner and it has been a very reliable, albeit somewhat fuel inefficient car (getting ~25 MPG mixed driving). It has a check engine light come on every once in a while for "random cylinder misfires" which could explain the poor MPG, but it has not affected the car in any other noticeable way.
I'm in the market for a newer car with fewer miles, a manual transmission, and an AUX input, which led me to deciding on this Civic coupe! I love Civic's (and Honda's in general), and my first car was a Honda anyway, so I want to stick with a Honda.
I wanted to know if there was anything I should look out for when buying this particular model (or perhaps what I should look for in general when buying a used car from a private dealer on Craigslist).
Also, do all 2006-2011 EX model's of this Civic have AUX input?
Thanks Civicforums! Your responses are much appreciated!

2006, as far as I know, is the only EX model year in the 8th generation that does NOT have an aux port.
Oddly enough, don't go too new...aux is being phased out for bluetooth and USB, my 2014 EX does NOT have an aux port (Instead, it has 2 USB ports, bluetooth, and an HDMI port)

Woah, really? That's weird. AUX is so convenient. Is there some sort of AUX-to-USB adapter to get AUX into one of those ports?
Thankfully, I was eyeing the '07 models too!
