2007 civic sedan si??

i am about to buy a new vehicle and its between a dodge 4x4 4 door truck or a 2007 civic sedan si. basically i have always loved the si and now that i have a daughter i need the sedan. i have a old beater truck so i dont have to have another truck. I would like to know a few things and i hope you all can help. Basically, how much in maintenance do these vehicles require?? Are their parts expensive?? Are they easy to work on?? And for those with kids is there enough room for everyone to be comfortable?? thanks for any info!

hondas usually run for a long time if you just do oil change every 5-6k miles. very easy to work on, open the hood and everything is within reach. its a pretty roomy car but test drive one and be sure you like driving it.

Parts are cheap and abundant because the civic is a car younger people like to modify and upgrade this and that, so if you break something, chances are you can find it on a forum for pretty cheap.
