Aftermarket Exhaust for 07 Sedan Si

Has anyone found a manufacturer that makes an aftermarket exhaust for the sedan si? I'm having a hard time finding parts for my car. I know that because it's a new car the won't be alot of parts available yet, but if anyone has any information I would appreciate it.

Re: Aftermarket Exhaust for 07 Sedan Si

The unfortunate thing, Biff, is that even AJ Performance told me directly that all 2006 parts EXCEPT their exhaust systems will work on the 2007 model. I have a 2007 Si sedan as well and can't find an exhaust yet. If I do, I'll let you know.

They make a short RAM filter cold induction kit for the car, though, if you're interested in boosting the HP and gas mileage slightly. It's about $218 and will fit the 2007 model (replaces the air box under the hood). Until the exhaust comes out, that will have to suffice.

Re: Aftermarket Exhaust for 07 Sedan Si

I have an Injen SRI installed already. Next im going to order AJP's turbo kit. I even called magnaflow and asked them if they were going to make one and they said that there's no market for it, for the sedan. Which is bullshit!!! You can find anything for the coupe but nobody wants to make **** for the sedan. Oh well I guess, I'll keep looking to and let ya know if I find anything.

Re: Aftermarket Exhaust for 07 Sedan Si

Well, they'd better get on it because the market for the Sedan is growing wildly. You wouldn't believe how many people have complimented my car and the aggressive look of the Sedan.

i sale parts and there isnt a catback for sedan yet. the only thing you can do is buy a sedan catback and have a 2"coupler/extension made.

I don't know if that's altogether true. I was told firsthand by a local performance shop that both the Greddy SP2 and EVO2 exhaust systems will fit the Sedan.

i will check around, unless something has changed in the last 2-3 weeks, they will not. I know this first hand because i know a guy who had to have the extension made. none the less, let me see what i can do. you have to figure, the sedan is 2" longer than the coupes.

Re: Aftermarket Exhaust for 07 Sedan Si

ok what i have been told as of today is that there is no exhaust specifically for the sedan, but the catbacks should fit. The tip wont stick out as far as it does on coupes. Now i dont actually know for a fact this is true. Its just what has been told to me second hand. Use this info at your own risk.

Re: Aftermarket Exhaust for 07 Sedan Si

For anyone with an '07 Si sedan that hasn't already found this exhaust and has an extra $800 lying around, Mugen now makes an aftermarket solution for us...

Re: Aftermarket Exhaust for 07 Sedan Si

That's just a silencer kit...wow, $790.00 for just that? It looks like an axle-back system, not a cat-back. Right above that listing, though, is the 2006-2007 FG2 Pro Spec III Exhaust system for $575.00...wouldn't that fit and wouldn't that be better since it's a Cat-Back system?

Re: Aftermarket Exhaust for 07 Sedan Si

You are deffinately right, it is an axle back system. Unfortunately as of right now it is the only thing that fits a sedan right now without making an extension for a coupe cat-back. King Motorsports does claim 8 hp gains from the Mugen silencer, and I've not heard of anyone having any issues with their advertising.

If that is true, are you going to end up with a melted back bumper?

Re: Aftermarket Exhaust for 07 Sedan Si

Legalspeeddesigns has a cat-back for the designed expressly for the FA5 can be purchased here

Oh, and the Mugen JDM Civic Type R Sports Exhaust System on Kingmotorsports.com is also for the FA5... what it takes to make it fit the USDM Si however, I don't know...
